12:01 a.m. - Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003 Thursday, July 31 So there I am this morning, minding my own business, thinking about the McGriddle I'm about to order when I decide, "Hey, all this driving and thinking about delicious food isn't distracting enough. I think I need to turn the radio on, too." So I turn on the radio just in time - I kid you not - to hear this "news" piece (paraphrased because I'm terrible with verbatim stuff): If you were one of the folks who tuned in last week to watch Ben and Jen on Dateline and bought all that crap (her word, not mine - k) here's some news for you. Apparently all is not well with them as they had a huge fight just before cameras rolled. It seems Ben had planned to spend some time with a buddy and she didn't think there was time for it and was cursing and yelling because he wanted to spend time with his friend and her nemesis, Matt Damon. Ok, I nearly peed my pants. Not only did these two allow the media to parade them like side-show freaks, somehow it's all managed to boost the appeal and affection for Matty. Talk about your backfires... I'm so sad for Benny. I like the guy, I really do and I'm sad that the path he's chosen has been so rocky and unpleasant. Unfortunately, the cards say it's not going to get any better. Wait until the daughter comes along... posted by Kimberly I love this site! And there's a lot more if you browse the archives. What is so funny to me is that it appears that Jennifer is so jealous of Matt. Everything she tries to do to draw more attention to herself and Ben only backfires on her and increases Matt's popularity. All the while Ben and Jen's popularity continues takin' a nose dive. Speakin' of Matty. He's doin' lots of movies. Bless his little Boston Bean pickin' heart! He just finished up "Stuck on You" with Greg Kinnear. That movie will be out on December 12. I already have my order in for the dvd as soon as it's released for sale at Amazon.com. Right now he's busy filming a movie in Prague called "Brother's Grimm". This is actually a drama or murder mystery. Sounds good since I love mysteries. I can't wait for that one. Then very soon Matt will begin filming a sequel to "Bourne Identity" called "Bourne Supremacy", I think. And finally Matt will star in another sequel to begin filmin' after the first of the year. It's the sequel to "Ocean's Eleven" called "Ocean's Twelve" (true). This one, I've heard, will have the added talent of Julia Roberts to the group of bandits. Julia was also in Matt's very first movie, "The Mystic Pizza" in which he had only one line. Speakin' of Matt's "Stuck On You" movie....I was trippin' through the NetFlix website lookin' for movies to put on my queque (list of movies to be sent), and I saw one movie advertised as "Stuck On You" and I thought: WHAT???!!!!! But when I clicked to get more information it turns out that movie was a comedy about marriage. Hmmm. That's happened before with Ryan Merriman's movie "Just Looking". There is another movie with the very same title but not at all anything like Ryan's movie. You'd think they would have someone paid to research movie titles before they make a movie. Evidently not. They must think that no one will ever run across the same title on two different movies. Little do they know. I am so excited about all of the movies that Matt has lined up. And, don't forget fans, Matt's birthday is October 8th. So get those birthday cards ready to send out today. It will be here before we know it. Especially for me. Friday for most of the day I thought it was Thursday, lol, until my mother informed me about half way through it that it was Friday. Arrrrrgh! Have you ever lost track of the days like that? Man! I thought I had more time than I did. I hate it when that happens. Messes with my mind severely. How did I get mixed up? I have no idea. But I did and it was such a disappointment to find out that I'd somehow lost an entire day of my life without even knowin' it. And I'm not even a blonde. What a bummer!
