9:09 p.m. - Sunday, Apr. 18, 2004 Tonight is the first night of the fourth season for QAF. I am so ready for this to begin. I have read that some of the fans of this show actually have parties or at least get togethers with their friends on Sunday night to watch it together. I guess every party needs a theme or so Emmett from QAF would say. This season is supposed to be based more on character development for the characters and less nudity and/or sexual scenes. Sounds interesting since most of the fans are caught up in the lives of the characters now anyhow. It's like a soap opera. No, really, it is. Most episodes manage to have somethin' happenin' that leaves the audience wondering what will happen in the next episode. This may be the last season for QAF. *cries* Some of the main characters are wantin' to move on to other things and I can understand that, but what will the fans do without their QAF fix? That's the main question on most of our minds as we continue to hear rumors that this will be the last season. Oh well, I suppose we fans shall move on to other things too when we have to, but not by our choice. *sigh* We shall have to find other men... Oh! Speak of the devil and he appears! No, just jokin', but I have discovered another actor who enthralls me--Steven Segall. I know he's been around awhile and is a lot older than most of the actors that I enjoy, but there's just something about Steven. Actually, there's nothing about Steven that is anywhere near to the kind of actor Belle usually likes, other than he's male. I saw him twice on TNT in the last week. Kind of hard to miss him. I know that some folks like to spot the bloopers in Steven's films, but I don't care about bloopers. Just bring on the guy! Aha! Doing a search on tvguide.com shows me that Steven will be in two movies back to back on TNT startin' at 9 am, just enough time to get all settled in to enjoy that sexy guy and start my day off with a hormonal high. I will get a favorite drink, relax and put my feet up, and prepare to enjoy. I also have a novel to read out of when the commercials come on. I like to keep my mind busy. Be back later....
![]() Later... I have a "Miss Marple" dvd from Netflix to watch now. I love mysteries and Jane Marple books and/or movies are some of my favorites. Miss Marple is one of Agatha Christie's creations. I love the lady who portrays Miss Marple in the series made in England. Joan Hickson just seems made for that part. She looks like I would imagine Miss Marple would look. Now I have three of Miss Marple movies on one dvd to enjoy. I've seen them all before on tv on the PBS channel, but I never tire of watching them. Some day I hope to own the set to enjoy whenever I want to. My friend, JB, tells me that he was doin' some cleanin' last week on his apartment because he was expectin' company. He sounds a little like me talkin' about going through things to sort out and throw away. I told him how I try to do a very good "deep cleanin'" now and then to rid myself of havin' too much stuff build up on me. For me books and magazines build up more than anything else and I have to take time to clear them all out now and then except for some very special gifts given to me by my closest friends--like autographed magazines from Ryan Merriman. I also get rid of any other items, clothin', appliances, etc., that have not been used in the past six months while I'm at it. Plus that keeps me from tryin' to shove it all into one day or weekend. It's done on my time at my leasure. My mother doesn't understand why I throw away perfectly good things that I "might need" some time. I told JB that when I come to an item that I haven't used in the obligatory six months, I then ask myself: "Would I buy this item now at a yard sale if I didn't have it?" If the answer is "no" then I toss it in the trash can. If the answer is "yes" then I give it away. Why waste my money on something I probably won't use in yet another six months? If I do need it then I can just borrow it from the person I gave it to and it won't be crowdin' my place, hahaha. I crack myself up sometimes. I'm recordin' "Along Came a Spider". It's being shown on CBS tonight. I've seen parts of this movie on cable when it was on Showtime, but I've never seen it from the beginning. I should have taped it while it was on cable and then it wouldn't have the commercials in it, but it's too late now. Once it shows on network tv it won't be back on commercial-free cable again probably. Oh well, sometimes commercials are good. Allows for time to go to the bathroom or make a phone call, or fast forward if I don't need to do either of those things. I will have to catch QAF at either midnight tonight or tomorrow night when it replays. I did record "Runaway Jury" from Pay-Per-View on cable. I love John Grisham novels and I've read the book already. The movie was fantastic and I'm glad I have it but I've already loaned it out. But I can trust the person I loaned it to. I've loaned movies before to CA. My mother moved this month and the family have all been busy helpin' her get settled in. She hasn't moved in several years now and has a bad heart so the move was hard on her. I worry about her. I am seriously thinkin' about movin' in with her. We will be company for each other and can help one another. After the ordeal with the killer possums here that might be a wise idea. Not that either of us could ward off an attack of invaders dressed up like possums, but I don't think they have that problem in her neighborhood. Where she lives people only have to worry about muggers and rapists. Just kiddin', folks.
