5:40 p.m. - Monday, Sept. 22, 2003 I have got so many things comin' to me by mail now. Things from Ebay and Amazon. Plus rented movies from NetFlix. The postal service should issue me a meritorious citation for givin' them so much business. We're gettin' rain here again last night and today. But then it will clear off and become sunny after today. I have things I need to do like get ready to place my house up for sale and get a new place. That will mean lots of packin' and cleanin', etc. I will miss livin' here. I have such wonderful neighbors. I can always call on them for help with anything. I will especially miss the kids. They are the sweetest darlin's. But I know that I will be much better off to move somewhere where the wildlife isn't so abundant or anxious to move right on in. But I'm not the only one who's experienced wildlife problems in the home. Take a look at this entry by my good friend, Jake. The enty title cracks me up. It's called "Chase The Chipmunk", hahahaha. What is with these animals who want to set up housekeepin' in our homes??? The little story about Jake's chipmunk woes is cute. I loved it and it was very funny. I could just see that little critter hangin' on by it's paws at the window sill--well, just read it and see what I mean. Oh, and be sure to leave Jake a comment or sign his guestbook. Tell him "Belle sent me." Thanks. I like that comments feature. Hmmmm....I'd have to upgrade to Super Gold to get it. I don't really have that many readers, but this would be good so that people don't have to go to the Guestbook all the time. Be back in a moment.... I've just upgraded my account on DiaryLand to SUPER GOLD! Yaaaay! Don'cha just love havin' money to burn? Hahaha. But now I will need to do some readin' to find out how to insert the comments link onto my page. I'm sure it won't be too hard to do. Of course I am a bit html challenged at times. And I need to figure out also how to back up my diary. I plan to put it onto disk. Anyone who can give me any tips--I am not to proud to beg for help...Well. Here goes nuthin'... *pats self on back* Belle did it! Got the comments link set up and even changed the background color to match the diary background. I amaze myself sometimes! *Belle dances around the room* I have begun reading the novel "The Bourne Identity". Man, it is so awesome. If I have written about this book before, please forgive me . I know I've written about the movie before. The book is so full of things happenin' that were never shown in the movie. The book truely is nothin' like the movie just as Em told me. It's nearly like readin' a completely different story. But the book is really good and I'm lovin' it. I'm over half way through it and I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure/spy novels. Next I will be readin' "The Bourne Supremacy" which is the book that the movie sequel is "supposed" to be based on. And I've also ordered the last of the Bourne novel series from Amazon. It's entitled, "The Bourne Ultimatum" and I'm waitin' for it to be delivered now. The rain has stopped and the sun is shinin' beautifully outside. It's probably turnin' of very hot too. I have to get a wedding present for a friend of mine. So I will probably take care of that either tomorrow or the next day since the weather is supposed to clear. I don't want to chance showers today since the forecast showed rain most of the day. It'll most likely cloud back up again shortly. I think that I am in the mood for fish today from Captain D's restaurant. I should go out now while the rain has stopped if I'm goin'. I'm expectin' a delivery today and I'm kind of hesitant to leave although it would only take a few minutes. This week and next are goin' to be filled with mail deliveries and UPS, hahaha. It's almost like Christmas for me! I got a phone call from a friend just now who told me that when I get the new computer she will help me get a good firewall and some other things she mentioned. I hope I don't have any trouble with the firewall. Seems like some time back I did a trial version of one and then some of the things I like to use got blocked from being able to come up. But my friend tells me that she will help me do something which will configure things around it. Don't ask me to explain, hahaha. I barely understand how a computer works. She will be comin' in from college this weekend hopefully. I will call her CA. CA was sick yesterday. She had called then and we talked. She was about dead with a very bad cold. She was very hoarse. Today she called to let me know that she's feelin' better. She didn't want to go out to buy some medicine because the college parkin' lot is so full that she might lose her good space. So she borrowed some medicine from her roommate. At least she sounds so much better today. She told me that she partied Saturday and was out in the cool damp night air too long and ended up sick. I'm glad she's feelin' better. I received a very nice email--a couple of them in fact--from my friend, JB, who contacted me after visitin' my Ryan Merriman web site. He lives in Canada. It's always such a treat to hear from someone who's visited my Ryan site. I have a lot of hits on it. Blows my mind to see the numbers grow. Tripod even sent me a message to let me know that my Ryan site is one of their most popular sites. That was nice of them. I tell ya! I am truely enjoyin' this spurt of good things happenin'. Of course I dread when the bad cycle begins. No tellin' what will go wrong since this good cycle has been so fantastic! But I won't dwell on it too much. Right now is the time to just enjoy myself. I am doing just that too, believe me.
