Matt and Ben: The Play
Ok. I didn't watch "The Bourne Identity" today. *sigh* But I did watch it three times through yesterday, lol. I have just about memorized several whole segments of it and can even say the lines with Matt. Today I'm watchin' "Good Will Hunting", haha.

Well, the romance between Jen and Ben has come to an end. Hey! I'm a poet and didnt' know it! Hahahaha! YESSSSS! Ben has given Jen the boot! One would have thought Jennifer Lopez would have ended it when Ben Affleck had that little "night out with the boys" who turned out to be female strippers. It was all over the news. Yes, though wait!--Ben said he didn't actually have "sex". He only did oral sex on some of the--uh..ahem--entertainers. So...it wasn't sex, you see. And he didn't cheat on Jen? Yeah, right!

Actually I thought Jen should have been able to see the writing on the wall. Surely the woman wasn't that naive. But she was willing to forgive and forget. So Ben did the only thing he could do. He broke up with her. He gave her the chance to call it quits after his stunt with "the guys" but she didn't take the hint. He gave her the reason to break up with him while blaming him totally for the split. But since Jen wouldn't see it for what it was, Ben finally took the bull by the horns and kicked Jen out of his bed and out of his life. I think the final straw actually happened when Jen expressed her dislike for the idea of Matt attending the wedding. Hey, Jen, never come between a man and his dog or a man and his boyhood best bud. Southern women have always known this fact. And we also know not to get in the way of a man and his moonshine unless one is in dire need of some immediate air-conditionin'. (Southen joke: shotgun/air-conditioner, shot clean through, get it now? Ok.)

Anyhow, I feel kind of bad for Jen--not! I actually feel very relieved. Of course I will miss all the cool jokes about Ben and Jen. And the girls at Two White Chicks.com will not have Jen to laugh at any longer, or be able to point out how jealous she is of Matty. I will miss their funny entries on this topic.

This past Sunday was to have been their wedding day but instead Ben and Jen were both off to different parts of the US separately. Some people think that this is only a postponement of the wedding. But I don't think so and neither does the Associated Press.

I was surfin' the web and ran across the funniest message board. Or at least I thought it was. I am still laughin' over it. I was searchin' for more information on Ben and Jen and a Google search turned up this message board. I don't know if all of their threads are so funny, but this one had me cryin' from laughin' so hard. The reason it came up on the search was because one of the members had posted that the photo of another member looked like Ben Affleck. It's a message board in Canada for people who either like to dance or for singles (I haven't read enough to know yet). They use the word "swing" a lot on that board I noticed, haha.

The thread I'm writing about is supposed to be about odd or funny news articles. But when I began readin' it, I couldn't quit. I thought I would roll in the floor before the first page was over. The first article is about animal farts--I kid you not! I especially loved the banter that went on between the member who looks like Ben and another member who uses a "fraggle" character for her icon which begins about the third post down. You have got to see this! Hahaha. The thread is called The Things That Don't Swing. I hope you will have a moment to glance at it especially if you need a really good laugh.

I have purchased two paperback books from Amazon by Robert Ludlum: "The Bourne Identity" and "The Bourne Supremacy". They will be here in about a week or a little longer. I have also purchased and downloaded an ebook by Mr. Ludlum which is another spy thriller but not about Jason Bourne. This one has a different main character. I suppose because of movies being made about the other two they can't be offerered in ebook form maybe. I don't know--just guessing.

I'm getting some really good ebooks from Microsoft which at this time offers three free ebooks a month to read on the Microsoft Reader. I really enjoy ebooks. It is so good to have them available. They cost less than a paperback because they don't have to be printed. I will be glad when ebooks become more popular so there will be more of them available to the public.

I had downloaded so many ebooks that I couldnt' read them all fast enough and they were cloggin' my computer and it had slowed down on opening up sites. So I tried to find where on my hard drive the books were stored so that I could save them onto disk and get them out of my system. I have searched everywhere and can't locate them. I've checked everywhere I think they might be.

But I did an experiment and found out it works. For the experiment I downloaded one ebook twice just in case I lost the one I would be experimentin' with. In the end I found out that I can delete the ebook from the reader and it will show up in the trash bin. From there I can transfer them to disk and save them. If anyone else has the Microsoft Reader and knows where the ebooks are stored please let me know. Now I have several ebooks saved onto disk to read at my leasure includin' the one by Mr. Ludlum. Most of the ebooks are neary 800 pages in length. No wonder my computer was slowin' down. I had saved almost ten ebooks.

Hmmm...my newest copy of GWH is skippin' now. *sigh* I guess I've about worn it out. I will have to replace it soon probably. But it willl be worth it. It's a great movie.

I had some chicken from Pizza Hut today and I think it's goin' to upset my stomach. It usually does. I shouldn't eat it, but I can't resist chicken. I love the stuff. A doctor once told me that I'm allergic to chicken and that's why I crave it. I suppose I am actually because at times it will cause me to break out in a red rash and itch all over. I have to take some Benedryl to get rid of the rash. So he was probably right.

Oh! There is a new stage play bein' done in theatres now. It's called "Matt And Ben", lol. That is a fact. Someone has actually done a play about the lives of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. I would love to see that play!

My sister told me that she saw an interview with Ben Affleck in which he said that his mother was against him marryin' a woman who'd already had three other failed marriages. I don't remember which internet site it was on but I had read last week that Ben's family and friends (includin' Matt) were tryin' to talk him out of marryin' Jennifer Lopez. Well, I guess their influence worked. I love that both Ben and Matt are so close to their families. That makes them both very special guys in my thinkin'. You're a good son, Benjamin Gaza Affleck.

*Belle blows a kiss at Ben*
