Matt's Shoes On Ebay
Today has been very busy for me. My sister came over today and helped me set up the new computer. I have just about gotten everything re-uploaded onto my new computer now. It feels so good to have everything new. Even the keypad is a whisper soft one that makes hardly any noise when the keys are struck.

The only real problem I'm having is that the colors don't look the same on most of my favorite websites, including Belle's Journal and my Ryan Merriman website. They look washed out or faded out to me. My sister, CH, says that there is a disk that says something about color that came with the new computer which she'll check into tomorrow.

And I still don't have the DVDR working properly yet either. It won't record. It plays the dvds just fine, but still won't record. I don't know what the problem is. We should have gotten the first dvd recorder which was a different model altogether. I have 30 days to decide to return it. CH thinks it may be due to the digital cable. I will call about that tomorrow after I have my eye exam which I have tomorrow in the morning.

I love the keyboard that came with the new computer. It's new and has a soft sound to it when the keys are hit instead of making the clacking sound the old keyboard did. And I have a flat screen monitor which is very cool. It leaves a lot of room on the desk. I mean a LOT of room, lol.

And now I also have a printer/scanner/fax all in one printer. That is very awesome. It s huge looking thing however, so I'm glad the monitor is leavin' me some extra space, lol.

Today I did a lot of driving around for things. It was a good day for driving however. The air was fantastic! It was kind of cool but not cold. I rolled down the car windows and enjoyed the fresh air. It was a wonderful day for cruising around. I put about 100 miles on the car today, lol. That's the most mileage at one time it's seen in a long time, I think.

The last couple of nights have been like heaven as far as being able to sleep is concerned. I have slept like the dead, lol, for two nights and it's been absolutely wonderful. I love this time of year! I have the central heat and air temperature control set at about 70 so that the heat will come on if it drops below that during the night. It's begun droppin' into the mid-fifties at night. But I'm lovin' it!!!

I have begun a new game on NMG called "Ry-bay" kind of a pretend game of Ebay. All of the members are allowed to pretend they have $1,000 to bid for things on Ry-bay. The items are pretend items that have belonged to Ryan Merriman. So far NMG hasn't said anything against doin' it. Sometimes they get a little picky about what we do on the messge board. They have set down the law about discussin' any celebrity not represented by NMG. Hmmm....Made me very angry at first. But I have thought it over and I guess they have their reasons. They have to pay for the boards so I guess they want only their clients to be discussed.

You might notice that I have an added button on my journal now. It's a forum that I've created for anyone who wants to use it. I thought perhaps the folks on NMG might want to use it some to discuss some of the other actors, like Orlando Bloom and Matt Damon, on the forum since we can't do it on NMG any longer. But the forum can be used for discussions on just about any topic. I get an email if anyone posts to it. So make yourselves at home there if you want to. I had put up a kind of notice about the forum on NMG and someone in management there removed it completely. Sometimes they really gripe me badly, but it's their message board. I just thought it was sort of very rude not to at least drop me an email about it at least. But no, they just removed it without so much as even a "kiss my foot" in regard to it. Now that really steamed me for several hours. But I'm over it now. If the forum that I've made doesn't catch on in a month or two I'll just remove it. No problem. I know that several members of NMG read this journal and they're the main ones that I want to let know about it.

Uh oh...I just remembered that I need to find out who the winner for the first item up for bid on Ry-bay was. It was supposed to end at 5pm. I was so busy with the computer being installed I completely forgot about it.

I've received all my things that I bid on this month on Ebay and it all came quickly and I was very pleased. I even have some new photos of Matt that I got which i plan to scan pretty soon. Oh, by the way, "Celebrity Shoes for Charity" has put a pair of autographed shoes up for bid that had belonged to Matt Damon. The bidding began at $25 but now is up to over $200! Now that would make such a cool conversation starter to put onto the living room coffee table. A pair of shoes that had been worn and autographed by Matt himself. I'd love to have those shoes! But I don't think I will. My friends and family really would have me comitted for certain if I bid on that, hahaha.
