12:55 p.m. - Wednesday, Mar. 16, 2005 I received an email from her today letting me know that she has been very sick. It was such a relief to hear from her and I hope Xtine will feel better soon. Love you, Xtine, my friend. I've gotten into some Yahoo email groups too that are highly vocal, lol. They write a lot and my mailbox stays overflowing and keeps me busy emptying it. I may have to resign from a few of them soon. HB, my cat, sits here with me as I type. She's looking outside but won't go out today when I try to get her to do so. I think it's drizzling rain lightly and she can sense it even if I don't see it. She hates rain. It's kind of cloudy outside today and the porch is a little wet lookin'. HB lets me pet her now and then, lol. She lets me live with her if I'm good. And she's trying her best to take over my bed but I'm fighting her tooth and nail or claw over it. I have conceded one corner at the foot of the bed to her so far. Sometimes she tries to stretch out long to use up more space, but I don't intend to lose this battle, lol. Yesterday I started reading a very good book by James Patterson. "JACK AND JILL" is a mystery. I love good mysteries. I have a new resolve. My entries may become shorter now. Some unthinking stranger, calling herself "Bev", sent me an unkind comment about things I write, so I've decided not to mention anything really personal for a long while. Why is it that total strangers think they have the right to tell you what they think you should or shouldn't write into your own diary? At least get to know a person first. This stranger named Bev doesn't know me from Adam, yet she has the nerve to write rude things to me. I don't think so. I deleted the comment. And on top of that, she didn't even have the nerve to leave an email for me to reply back to. Bev, you coward. Anyhow, *sigh* I'm ok. I think I'll survive a while longer. LOL.
