9:37 p.m. - Friday, Oct. 03, 2003 I received three new dvds from Netflix to watch sometime soon. One of them is called "Black Hawk Down." Yeah, I know...nearly everyone has seen that movie already, but I haven't. I'm lookin' forward to it since it has Josh Harnett in it. He's another very good actor. And very attractive as well. Another dvd is "Beauty and the Beast." Yeah, the Disney cartoon. Don't laugh. I haven't seen that one yet either. I really got behind on movies some time back when I went for over a year without seein' any movies to impress this guy I was seein' who had a religious thing goin' on about not watchin' tv or movies. Now I'm not seein' him anymore and I'm tryin' to get caught up. I have lots of great movies ahead of me, hehe. The last of the three is a suspense/mystery called "Cracker." It sounds good to read about it. I hope it's as good as it sounds. Last time I rented this movie called "Foreign Correspondence" with Corey Nemec in it. It sounded like it would be interestin' and I like Mr. Nemec usually, but this particular one was a really, awful movie! I think that I mentioned that I usually rent movies based on who's in them and this was one of them. I guess all movie stars have their share of flops. Mr. Nemec does have some really good movies out too. Oh! Last time I got to see "Fourty Days and Fourty Nights" with Josh Hartnett. Now that was a good one!!! It was funny too. I highly recommend this one to you if you haven't seen it already. It's about a boy who gets so depressed over the break up with his girlfriend that he swears to go through the fourty days of Catholic Lent without havin' sex of any kind. None whatsoever! And right afterwards he accidentally meets the girl of his dreams in a laundry mat. When his friend tells others about Josh's vow, all at once there are bets everywhere that he won't last the full fourty days without sex. It even gets put onto the internet! It is sooo funny! I love that movie! I have done a lot of cleanin' around here. This cleanin' is goin' through things and decidin' what I don't use any longer and gettin' rid of it. I am beginnin' to have all kinds of room in my place now. Of course I don't have that much stuff to begin with. But it feels good to do something like this at times. Gives me a really nice feelin' to clean. I think it would be interestin' to live like the Quakers or Amish do as far as their homes are concerned. The photos I've seen of some of their bare essentials homes looks very clean and neat. Of course I don't think they have photos of friends and loved ones sittin' around either to kind of give coziness to the rooms. But livin' as they do with only the absolutely necessary items makes cleanin' a breeze, I'm sure. Not a lot of dustin' and vaccuumin', hahahaha. What is your favorite ice cream? Mine is anything with chocolate in it. I especially love Chocolate Chocolate Chip! Talk about rich! That ice cream is so wonderful! I have the best feelin' inside after eatin' some of that. I've been cravin' it for the past couple of days. I talked to someone who's had lazer eye surgery before. She told me that it didn't hurt at all. She had trouble with light for a long time afterward, but she said she felt no pain. And they did put her to sleep durin' it. That's a relief to know! I'm not lookin' forward to this surgery, but it will be good to be able to see clearly again. That's what I'm lookin' forward to. Right now everything looks like it has a kind of haze over it. It's really scary to think about losin' one's sight altogether. They can do wonders now with the lazer however. I need to look this procedure up on the Internet and see what I can find out about it. I will do that soon. She told me that for awhile I won't be able to see too well and will want to shut out all of the light in the rooms. She told me that even watchin' television was painful to her because of the light. She would watch tv with sun glasses on, she said. The doctor will do one eye at a time and right after the surgery I will have one eye covered by a bandage. I hope he will do the left eye first since that seems to be the worst one of the two to me. When I shut my right eye, I can't see hardly anything out of the left at all right now except fuzzy light. I don't know how long it will be followin' the surgery before I will be usin' the computer again. Well, at least if I can't see I can listen. I can slip one of Matt's dvds in and listen to it since I will know what is happenin' in it and can imagine it. I have a great little imagination. I love to daydream. I can get caught up in a good daydream. I prefer it to television sometimes. This was the only thing that kept me goin' when I went without tv for so long once before. My daydreams sometimes are better than real life, hahaha. At least I can do and be whatever I choose. And the guys in my dreams always say just the right words and never hurt my feelin's. Hahahaha!
