Virtual Belle
Last night was another sleepless night for me. I read until nearly 2am, but I couldn't relax at all once I finally felt drowsy. I hate nights like that, but it happens quite a lot. Since it was already nearly mornin' I didn't want to take a sleepin' pill. Besides I was expectin' a call this mornin' which did come in early. I don't think I actually slept at all. I tossed and turned and lay there most of remainder of the night, but I don't remember wakin' up. I remember only bein' awake all the time. It's a good thing I don't have to go out each day to earn my livin' or I'd be in deep trouble.

So tonight I plan to go to bed around 7 or 8pm. I am very exhausted as you might well imagine. I don't want to take a nap for that would make me awake most of tonight too and I have to be up early again at 5:30am tomorrow. So I will take a sleepin' pill around 7pm and set my alarm, hoping for a much needed night of complete sleep.

Today I paid some bills online and read some more in my novel as well as regular things like cleanin', etc. I have written some emails, one to my friend, H, in Finland. We have been good friends for some time now. H is nearly as close as family to me even though she lives half a world away. Then I wrote a few more emails. One was a very, very long email. I keep tellin' myself to save those things to "draft" before I send them. But I haven't learned yet. Seems like when I spend time writin' a really long email it never sends properly and then I lose every single darn word, hahaha. I don't think Yahoo likes long emails. And I don't care to use Outlook Express. Most of my friends are usin' Yahoo, so this works good for me as long as I remember to save my long letters to draft before I attempt to send them out. That way if they don't send I will still have the copy. One of these days I will get it through my brain. Now I will have to re-write the letter--tomorrow. I am too tired to do it over again today.

I'm about ready to get my Matt fix. I think I might watch "The Rainmaker" today for a change. I've about burned my "Bourne Identity" dvd up. No, wait....I haven't seen "Legend of Bagger Vance" in a long while. Maybe I'll do that one. Oh shucks! As long as it has Matt in it, what does it really matter which one, hahaha. I did amaze BB yesterday with my ability to quote the words Jason Bourne would say right before he said them. Sounded like an echo in the room.

I love that movie!!!! Especially the part where Marie slips Jason's t-shirt up over his head and all Matt's ripplin' muscles are exposed for my pleasurable daydreamin'. Shut up, Belle, lol!

In readin' some of the reviews that are done for diary/journaling, whatever, I see that the use of the abbreviation "lol" is deeply frowned upon by most reviewers. Well....that's the reason I'll never ask to be reviewed. I write like I think and I know that will never meet up to the reviews given. So why put myself up for a slap-down? I'm not that anxious to find out that I have flunked Diary 101. I know already that I have by their standards. Anyhow I'm not tryin' to win a Pulitzer with this little hobby. I just like to write and if some of you are kind enough to put up with me I deeply appreciate y'all.

I have arranged for milk to be delivered to my home once a week. I figure that with winter comin' on I need to get my deliveries arranged in case the ice and snow hold me captive in my own home again like it did last year for three months, hahaha. That's why I have to be up early tomorrow. That way I can meet the milkman and won't have to try to struggle to haul several dairy items inside from off the porch. Hey, this sweetie, named Dave, will even bring it all inside for me himself. He's an angel. One of several angels in my thinkin'. I am totally in love with all of the pizza delivery guys, lol. They saved my life last year.

This year I can have food delivered by UPS if I need to. Walgreen's or Walmart will send things by UPS. I can get canned meat and pasta, cereal, oats, biscuit mix that only needs milk added, muffins, canned fruits, etc., etc. I think I've mentioned all of this before in an earlier entry, but it's amazin' to me how that soon no one will have to leave home. You can work from home, have all your food delivered by places like Schwann's and Walmart, have your incomin' money deposited automatically, pay all your bills online and never have to write out a paper check again. It is truely becomin' a virtual world.

Soon Belle may never have to set foot outside ever again....
